AYSO Region 15 – is the Central Torrance branch of the nationwide non-profit American Youth Soccer Organization. Our mission is to provide quality youth soccer programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family-oriented soccer environment.

We are guided in our program development by AYSO's Five Basic Philosophies:

Everyone Plays -- At least half of every game

Open Registration -- AYSO has sign-ups, not try-outs. As long as there is space on a team, every child who signs up will play.

Balanced Teams -- Skilled/talented players are evenly distributed among all teams in a league to promote balanced competition.

Positive Coaching -- AYSO believes in building soccer skills and self-worth through encouragement and teaching.

Good Sportsmanship -- AYSO has active programs to promote positive behavior on the field and on the sidelines.

In our interaction with children we seek to be:

• Instructional – Let’s learn about ourselves, teamwork and soccer
• Encouraging – Focus on achievements, not failures

 

We are an all volunteer organization and every team is more than just the kids that play.  Every team must think of themselves as a group of coaches, team parents and referees as well.  This is how we teach our children to be involved in the lives of others and care about the world around them.  Training is available so PLAYSOCCER!
